Yong (Jane) Zhang

Yong is a plant pathologist and mainly studied fungal diseases of plants. She has strong experience in isolation, culture, and identification of fungi. She is growing and harvesting Coccidioides and carrying out experiments in the BSL3 lab in VFCE to assist other scientists in the development of a vaccine for Valley fever and in enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of the condition.
